Our transportation and logistics services were introduced to meet the specific demands of our existing clients. They are distinctly tailored to help designers, firms and independent fabricators address the unique logistical challenges involved in furniture production in the NYC market.
THE CHALLENGE
Architectural and design firms were spending more money than necessary and introducing the potential for damage to their projects - hiring third-party companies for packing, collection, storage and, eventually, residential delivery and installation (most often different vendors for each phase).
Independent fabricators were losing money and valuable time in the shop in order to bring completed work to their preferred finisher - renting trucks, hiring moving help and wasting days in city traffic - only to do it all over again when it was time to pick up and deliver to the client or job-site. This often meant hiring yet another moving service with expensive insurance clearance mandated to enter NYC residential buildings.
Furniture designers and brands were spending more money than necessary and taking on unnecessary monthly overhead costs - paying for over-priced, one-off freight services while carrying additional monthly leases or expensive contracts in order to warehouse of unsold inventory.
THE ANSWER
Shop Pickup/Re-delivery: We provide collection/redelivery for our finishing customers with in-house production capabilities or who prefer to work with outside fabricators and/or millworkers.
Curbside Delivery: Protection, packaging, and curbside delivery to desired locations of items (unloading not included)
